Angelica Nwandu was born in 1989 in Los Angeles, California, the United State of America to her Nigerian family. She did her graduation from Loyola Marymount University.
She experienced tragedy as a youngster when her mother was murdered by her father through domestic abuse at the age of six.
However, she spent most of her childhood in an unstable foster care scenario, where she discovered a passion for writing while attending Peace4Kids, a program that helps foster kids discover their creative potential.

“I always knew I wanted to be a writer, even from a young age I found it extremely therapeutic and it got me through hard times,” she says.
