Dublin made his senior career debut for Norwich City in 1988. From 1988 to 1992 he played for Cambridge United where he scored 52 goals in 156 appearances.

Dion Dublin played for Manchester United from 1992 to 1994 and then for Coventry City from 1994 to 1998 where he scored 61 goals in 145 caps.
