Josh Rosen is a US-based football quarterback. He played college football at UCLA, where he achieved Freshman All-American and Pac-12 Freshman Offensive Player of the Year honors in 2015. In his junior year, he set the school’s history for single-season passing yards.

College career

Professional Career at Arizona Cardinals

The Arizona Cardinals selected Rosen with the 10th overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft. He was the fourth quarterback chosen that year, and one of five taken in the first round.

In a conference after the draft, Rosen referred to the players who had been selected before him as “nines mistakes,” despite being picked in the first round for only the second time in his career.

On May 10, 2018, Rosen agreed to a four-year contract worth $17.84 million with an $11 million signing bonus. Rosen took over the backup job from Mike Glennon during training camp and won it over him in Week 3 of the regular season against the Chicago Bears.
