Maverick McNealy is an American professional golfer who is 2018 earned his bachelor’s degree in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University.

In late 2016 and early 2017, he was the world’s number one amateur golfer as per World Amateur Golf Ranking.

At the age of 18, McNealy qualified for the 2014 U.S. Open at Pinehurst, finishing second in his class behind Tiger Woods and ahead of Cameron Wilson.

During the 2014-15 golf season, he shot a 61 in the Pac-12 Conference Championship final round, tying Tiger Woods‘ and Wilson’s records at Stanford.

In 2015, he took home the Haskins Award, which is presented annually to the best collegiate male golfer in the United States.

He became only the third Stanford University golfer to win it since 1971 (the previous two being Tiger Woods and Patrick Rodgers).
