Zakary Brown (born November 7, 1971) is an American entrepreneur and former racing driver who currently resides in England.
He is the CEO of McLaren Racing, where he has overall responsibility for the company’s operations, including strategic direction, operational performance, marketing, and commercial development.
Zak Brown was born and reared in California, where he raced professionally for ten years before studying motorsports’ commercial and business aspects. In 1995, Zak launched Just Marketing International (JMI), which became the world’s largest motorsport marketing firm.
In 2013, CSM, a division of Chime Communications Limited, acquired JMI for $4.2 million. Brown became the firm’s CEO in 2013 after being purchased by CSM. In the winter of 2016, he gave up his post as CEO to focus on his duties with McLaren.

In 1986, Zack Brown began his racing career in karting, winning 22 races in five seasons. He then went to Europe, where he won his first race in Formula Ford 1600 at Donington Park in England.

In 2009, Brown and Richard Dean co-founded United Autosports. The team earned a third-place finish in the GT3 class at the 2012 Spa 24 Hours in May 2010, as well as its first-class victory in the 2011 British GT Championship at Snetterton that year.
